INFORMATION INTRODUCTIONI'm Andre Louis da Silveira, alternatively Anlou and better known by my online alias Cage!I am a 20 year old queer artist based in Brazil with the hopes of working in the comic and animation industry. I have been drawing consistently since I was 8 and started taking it more seriously at 14.Currently coursing and studying Visual Arts at PUC Campinas. As of writing this, I am in my second year.
I specialize in character design, interpretation and interaction.I am interested in a variety of media, from literature to elaborate animated media, and I have a huge admiration to experimental and expressive storytelling. I wish to be able to convey my interests and emotions via my art, and most importantly, enjoy the process thoroughly. INFORMATION TOOLS OF TRADEI do both traditional and digital art, mainly focusing in drawing figures.
For digital art, I use a Huion Kamvas 16 and an iPad Air Gen 5.

TOOLS OF TRADE TRADITIONAL & DIGITALI normally utilise both digital and physical materials when illustrating. If i am not drawing away on my desktop PC or iPad, then I most certainly am on my sketchbook.
For digital art, I use a Huion Kamvas 16 and an iPad Air Gen 5.
For traditional art, I utilize a Canson 96g/m Sketchbook.
For traditional works, I prefer to work with mechanical pencil, watercolour, and any pen I might have available.
I've started experimenting with Acrylic Markers as well as Gouache, but it is still a learning curve. PROFISSION SPECIALTY AND FOCUS
My work prioritizes human and mammal animals interaction and characterization, as well as more nature based background works. I am always learning and developing to try to improve my own art as well as the message i share with the world.______

PERSONAL PROJECT MEMORY LANEA series of illustrations based on different parts of my childhood with the intent of helping me heal and cope with the concept of growing up.
These images are digital collages made from important figures of my past, pictured from photographs and modern interpretations of my memories. The overlayed and overwhelming colors, symbols and patterns emulate the feelings of a distant memory, similarly to old photographs having light leaks or fading away.

PLAY IN 1080p FOR BEST QUALITY!
SOFTWARE
For my animations, my go-to programs tend to be Toonsquid for IOS devices and Adobe Animate for desktop. I tend to fluctuate between versions of Animate based on my workflow.
I mostly use Clip Studio Paint for illustration but recently I have been adapting to the animation layouts of the program and learning how to work in advantage to the pros of the software.
Post compositing, editing and rendering of the final animation is done on Adobe After Effects.
EXPERIENCE
I am a mainly self taught animator, most of what I have learnt have been through online resources and insights from other animators.Currently studying rig animation on Adobe Animate at the art school Pandora.I have participated on online animation and art projects for community spaces such as the Warrior Cats fandom.
